Twitter's new search feature rocks

Twitter’s new search capability offers users an exciting boost to its usability. I am evidently one of a “a limited subset of users” to have the new search tool embedded in the Web page, something I didn’t realize until I saw PC World’s article today.

When you type a search term into the field, the results show up in your Twitter feed rather than a separate page. Cool!

It’s good to know Twitter are looking at ways of enhancing their interface without detracting from its minimalist design which, I think, is one of the reasons for its broad appeal.
